MKM was established in 1977 by Doug Schulz to meet the machining needs of local industries. The company began in a 4,000 sq. ft. building in McPherson with one employee. Today, MKM operates from a 24,000 sq. ft. facility on six acres. The company has expanded to 75 work centers and provides in-house machining, fabrication, grinding, EDM, laser, water jet, and design services, along with coordinated hard chrome plating through a trusted local partner.
