Mid Kansas Machine has 7 lathes, 4 horizontal manual lathes, and 1 vertical lathe.  The largest horizontal lathe is our Hwacheon 850BBL YMC, which is a 4-axes machine.  The capacity is Ø41.34 (1,050mm) x 143.7” (3,650mm) with a through the spindle diameter of 11.81” (300mm).  Our VTL is capable of  turning Ø94.5” (2,400mm) x 78.7” (2,000mm) and has a mill spindle. We have 300 different types of turning inserts ranging from grooving, threading roughing, & finishing. In addition, we have cutting-edge boring and MKM proprietary holder that eliminates vibration using dampers, while making large depth of cuts.
